From the Puy de Bruyère in the Les Charmes climate, the vineyards average 50 years old. The soil consists of weathered stones with clay and is rich in iron oxide, known as roche pourrie. There are 10,000 vines per hectare. Handpicked and meticulously sorted, the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 10 to 12 days to extract the full potential from the grape. Aging then takes place in barrels.
