2013 Lamborghini Torami IGT Sangiovese / Cabernet Sauvignon 0.75 Ltr. Rosso
picture of

Deep ruby red color. Intense nose of black currants, black olives and plums. More complex aromas such as cedarwood, leather, coffee, vanilla and a hint of cocoa emerge after rolling. Nice balance and structure with fine and perfectly integrated Tannins. Once in the mouth, the taste opens up even more and results in an impressively long finale. Comparable to the famous 'Super Tuscans' in Tuscany.

Ideal in combination with hearty game dishes such as wild boar, but also in itself a wine experience not to be forgotten quickly.

climate

Continental climate with Mediterranean influences. Hot and dry summers with occasional rainfall due to the proximity of the mountains and mild winters with limited but regular rainfall. Many hours of sunshine.

soil

Slightly sloping slopes with south to south-west oriented vineyards. Loam, clay and limestone soil in the subsoil. Vineyards at an altitude of 200-250m.

vinification

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Sangiovese (and a small part of Montepulciano depending on the vintage). Severe selection and hand-picked. Classic fermentation on stainless steel and maceration for 18 days, after which the wine matures for another 10 months in new French oak barrels. Then the wine in the bottle is kept in the cellar for at least 6 months.
