Cornelia Tessari - (Italy)

The story of this beautiful family estate begins with a small wine cellar in 1933, started by grandfather Antonio and his wife, Cornelia Tessari. The first vineyards and facilities were all built by Antonio by hand. It was here and then that he developed the passion and dedication that would later characterize all of the Grisela’s (the Tessari family nickname). As a strong woman beside her husband, the estate was named after Cornelia. Their son Aldo and his wife Bianca continued to expand the estate, bringing it to its full bloom, and now it is passed on to their children, Antonio, Germano, and daughter Cornelia (who shares the same name as her grandmother). Cornelia Tessari is considered among the very best in the region. The passion and love for Garganega can be tasted in every bottle. They also created the first Reciotto, and their “1st Ettaro” is none other than the white version of the famous Amarone wines. All vineyards at Tessari are farmed organically.

Light yellow colour with fine green reflections. Delicate aromas of white fruit, flowers and elderflower. After some ageing more exotic notes and a hint of almonds emerge. Refined and soft character. Dry style with a mild acidity. Pleasant, mineral finish.
